Our story began
with a single letter.
We built Storyhold Nest to help thoughtful people find their voice and write words that matter.
The Storyhold Nest story
Founded by former magazine editor Elena Voss in a small studio in San Francisco, Storyhold Nest started as a monthly letter-writing circle for professionals who felt silenced by corporate language.
In five years we grew into the leading compassionate copywriting school, serving more than 18,000 students across 97 countries. Every course is crafted with the same care we put into our very first letters.
Words shape the world. They should be handled with gentleness and courage.
Our mission
To create a new generation of writers who craft messages with empathy, clarity, and purpose — and to help every student leave a positive mark on the world with their words.
What we stand for
Gentleness
Every lesson is rooted in kindness. We reject aggressive sales tactics and manipulative copy practices.
Practice first
Theory is short. Real-world writing assignments are long. You build a portfolio from day one.
Community care
We believe in peer review, shared wins, and protecting each other’s creative energy.
